Association of Avian Health Professionals (AAHP) is a professional association for poultry veterinarians and other avian health professionals. AAHP was registered under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act., 2001 (Act No. 35 of 2001) with Regd. No. 545 of 2010 at Hyderabad. AAHP registered office is at ICAR-Directorate of Poultry Research (formerly called Directorate of Poultry Research), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500030, Telangana.
Key Objectives
- 1 To provide a forum for poultry veterinarians, other poultry health professionals, policy marker to exchange and disseminate new ideas and technologies in avian health and disease management.
- 2 To promote interdisciplinary research in the field of avian health for the benefit of poultry industry.
- 3 To work in association and co-operation with other, regional, national and international societies/organization having complementary objectives.
- 4 To publish a journal (Avian Health) at regular interval for providing cutting edge scientific information concerning the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of poultry diseases as well as food safety.
